musings of a conservative yeti

About

Over the holidays someone asked me if I was a hardcore conservative, I replied without hesitation, “No, just a thoughtful one.”  As a self-proclaimed astute observer of human behavior, there is one conclusion I have reached (It’s been said before), Opinions are like A**holes, everyone has one.  And they’re both worth about the same in my humble estimation.

In all honesty, opinion without perspective is more than worthless, if there is an adjective for that. I imagine that most normal people (meaning not liberal) know exactly what I am talking about. Even if you take a brilliant mind like Einstein and couple it with the emotionalism of liberalism, you will get an individual who cannot function in a debate. Liberalism is nothing more than compassion without common sense. It is the polar opposite of intellect, and thus often negates intelligence. I’ve seen it first hand, you’ve seen it firsthand, and any liberal with a modicum of intellectual honesty will admit they have seen it too.

So, since there isn’t a medication like we have for schizophrenia, and you can’t bottle common sense, the only way to deal with liberalism is to try to figure it out, explain its vapidity and eliminate it before it destroys the country. Welcome to the journey. It will be painful but anything worth doing usually is. Only when political correctness is dead will America reach its true greatness. Welcome to the fight of our lives …
