Example of liberal silliness number 1,345,786,987,874

While attending a beautiful Christmas function to celebrate this fine holiday season I ran into one of those liberals I feel bad for. She was quite stunning and seemed very intelligent, and I suspect she is for the most part, but bound by liberalism she was unable to participate in the simplest of debates, one for which her comments caused the discussion. I guess this sympathy is what can be called compassionate conservatism.

I mentioned to my brother something about Bill O’reilly being on the View and what a bunch of cackling morons the hostesses are. So, this lovely lady, I’ll call her Dayna, chimes in that she can’t stand Bill O’Reilly. For a normal person, or a conservative, this is like blood in the water, or a cat toying with a mouse. So the conversation went something like this, best as I recall.

Me – Why don’t you like him?
Dayna – I don’t know I just don’t.

Me – Is he too tall?
Dayna – No, I just don’t like him.

Me – Is he too Irish?
Dayna – No

Me – Was he too mean to someone?
Dayna – Maybe, I don’t know.

Me – Well, who do you like to watch
Dayna – Keith Olberman

Me – So you’re the one viewer he gets, you realize he is a total failure as is PMSNBC.

Blah, blah, blah. She went on to comment she liked Joe Scarborough too, which means she is at least getting some balance, so I have to give credit where credit is due. However, I did give her multiple opportunities to explain why she didn’t like Bill. As with many liberals, I can only assume that she never even watched the show and someone told her she shouldn’t like him. My guess, it was Mr. Olberman who makes the likes of Bill and Ann Coulter the worst person in the world over and over as opposed to terrorists, dictators and Hollywood blowhards who badmouth their country.

Anyway, at the end of the night, I gave her a big hug and told her “Conservatives hug hard.” How could I not, it’s just more proof of liberal vapidity to write about. Gracias Frau Dayna, I look forward to next year’s gathering.
